When I visited the show room at All Star Woodworking, I was quite impressed with them and the quality of their cabinets. They make their cabinets on site, and I was taken through the actual process of how they made them in their workshop. I hired them on the spot for my kitchen renovation (hybrid of some cabinets refaced and some re-built). This was after shopping around in the area. Noone else compared to the cabinet quality and their pricing was on point. Renee was the project manager who handled everything from the contract to completion, making sure the project was on track, with attention to detail. Our kitchen is beautiful! Working with All*Star Woodworking has been a wonderful experience. We were looking for a local independent cabinet maker with a mill shop, and All*Star was the right fit. From Florida, we had many conversations with your designer Renee, and she understood what we were looking for and was a tremendous help in all design and planning. With good communication, we were able to move forward with the project. After returning to New York and touring All*Star Woodworking, we were very impressed with the size and quality of the products that were being built.

We were happy to see that you were involved in every aspect of the project, including measuring, production and installation. Renee worked tirelessly on design, wood selections and colors. She coordinated the installation of all appliances, and gave recommendations for countertop and backsplash vendors who were used to our great satisfaction. She was there from concept through installation, always communicating and keeping us informed of the progress. When it came to the installation, your installers, Francisco and Ismail, treated our home with utmost respect, kept regular hours and cleaned up at the end of the day. They did a very professional job installing and took their time to get every detail perfect.

I had a difficult task trying to add on new cabinetry that would match seamlessly with the existing pieces. The craftsmanship in the final product is phenomenal. After years of having procrastinated a kitchen renovation we finally committed to All Star Woodworking this fall. Since our original cabinets were in excellent condition, but suffering from that ubiquitous 80’s look of laminate and wood trim, we opted for a refacing. Not only was it less expensive, but ecologically it was more “green”, adding considerably less debris to our accumulating landfills. Now, our only regret was not having done it all years ago.

Thank you All Star for transforming our kitchen into a lovely, modern and relevant space. Laminate was replaced with solid wood doors painted in a soft white, and creative touches were added throughout. A boring cup ledge became an integrated wine rack, and a previously unusable space became an attractive bookshelf for our cookbooks. Pull out drawers were added, as were striated glass doors to add light and interest. Every detail was meticulously tended to, and it’s amazing how a few clever changes can so dramatically alter the look and utility of a room.

All Star is the ultimate in professional service. The very fabric of this well-run company threads its way from its owner, Peter, and his very talented designer Krista, to its truly skilled craftsmen. Peter oversaw it all, taking precise measurements and addressing any concerns. Krista proved invaluable in helping our choices of cabinet style, paint color, and cabinet hardware. We cannot overstate how much we appreciated her constant attention to all details, her prompt responses to any queries, her computer updates of what to expect, and above all, her impeccably good taste in all matters. She was a joy to work with.

As for the actual installation itself, Gabor and Flavio worked diligently and neatly and completed all in the promised 5 days. They were a pleasure to have in our home and their work is second to none.

Needless to say, we recommend All Star without reservation. We could not be more pleased with our new kitchen. Kudos to all concerned!

I had Kitchen Cabinet Refacing done in 2012. The entire staff, especially Krista Andry, the Senior Design and Sales Associate, were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable and made it a painless experience. All the work was done in a timely fashion. I had all white cabinets and fairly new white appliances and had some specific ideas on what I wanted the kitchen to look like, since I was keeping the appliances. With Krista’s help and suggestions, I was able to achieve the exact results I was hoping for. They also built a beautiful wood spice rack that fit perfectly on the inside of the cabinet door and added crown moulding on the top of the existing cabinet structure. I love my “NEW” cabinets and have and will continue to refer friends and family to All*Star Woodworking.

All Star is one of those gems of a company that appear from time to time. In my experience there aren’t too many of them. Adequate companies, yes. But companies that stand out, just a few. And you never know what sector they will appear in. All Star seems to be led by the motto of “We aim to please” doing so both in the personal contact and manufactured product spheres. They were responsive, helpful, courteous, timely and priced their services well. The quality of the work they did on our kitchen was outstanding. They left us with kitchen cabinets that look like they are ready for a glossy magazine photo shoot.

We were so impressed with Krista and Joe we hired them to also plan and construct the bookcases in my husband’s home office; shelving in the office storage room; design and construct bedroom drawers and shelves for one bedroom; design and construct a complete amoire wall unit of drawers, shelves, and doors for a big bedroom wall; design and construct a 3-computer workspace; design and construct the cabinet and sink area for the children’s art space; and design and construct a full wall unit housing a TV and lots of shelves and base cabinets. Each area was installed when promised and when some adjustments were needed, Joe made them without any issues. When a few of the door closures broke, Joe came right away to replace them with no questions asked. All Star is the real deal and does a quality job. You will be happy you chose them.

I contacted All Star by phone initially and spoke to Krista. We talked over the work I needed done (I originally planned on just doing the counter tops) and I emailed her a sketch of the kitchen layout; she responded promptly with a quote for the counter tops. I set up an appointment to come to their showroom/shop to discuss in person and look at laminate samples. Krista gave me a tour of the shop as well.

I set up an appointment for Krista and Peter to come to my home and see the kitchen for themselves. During that meeting we added a few more things to the project including the drawer under the cook top, etc. Gave them a deposit and discussed time frame for fabrication and installation.

We arranged an installation date once I had my new cook top and sink. Peter and his guys showed up on time and went right to work. They spent a full day doing the work and did an outstanding job. There were several tricky details involved and they dealt with each one very nicely.

The finished job looks great. These guys are actual craftsmen. Peter is amazingly sharp on noticing details and discussing any concerns ahead of time. Krista is wonderful and very professional. I couldn’t be happier. I would hire them again without hesitation.

We had a very unusually shaped space under a staircase that was going unused. All Star Woodworking came up with a design that used a large triangular shaped cabinet and several larger drawer. They suggested different design and material options that would accommodate different prices. Joe brought various doors and molding choices to the house so we could select items that fit in with our existing doors and trim. Most importantly the whole area was framed in with molding to connect directly with the floor molding so the built-in looked as if it was an original part of our 125 year old house.
